Reduce your chemical footprint, participate in annual CFP survey


Recognizing the challenges the coronavirus poses to all of us around the world, Clean Production Action is extending the time period for filling in the Chemical Footprint Project (CFP) 2020 Survey by three months, to July 31, 2020. We are here to work with you in demonstrating your leadership in chemicals management. Last year’s CFP Survey results cfp_logo(https://www.chemicalfootprint.org/results/2019-report) highlighted:

  • Six frontrunners in chemicals management: Seventh Generation, Naturepedic, HP, Case Medical, Beautycounter, and Herman Miller;
  • Ten CFP Survey disclosure leaders who share scores and answers: Beautycounter, BD, Case Medical, Herman Miller, HP, Levi Strauss & Co., Naturepedic, Seventh Generation, Steris, and Walmart; and
  • Rising demand from investors, retailers, health care, and NGOs for businesses to report and reduce their chemical footprint—sign up at https://www.chemicalfootprint.org/value/be-a-signatory to be a Signatory.
Join peers in evaluating your chemical footprint. Participants in the CFP Survey include businesses in:
  • Apparel, accessories, & footwear: Levi Strauss & Co., Standard Textile
  • Building products & furnishings: Herman Miller, Milliken, Naturepedic, nora systems, Steelcase;
  • Electronics/Technology: HP, Xerox;
  • Household & personal products: Beautycounter, Clorox, Diversey, Ecolab, GOJO, Meliora Cleaning Products, RB, Seventh Generation;
  • Medical equipment & supplies: BD, Case Medical, J&J, Kimberly-Clark, Philips, Steris;
  • Retail: Dollar Tree, Target, Walmart; and
  • Toys & sporting goods: Hasbro, Radio Flyer.
Chemicalfootprint.org and I are your key resources to help fill in the Survey, including: We are also partnering with the Western New York Clean Production Leaders initiative in helping small- and medium-size businesses on their sustainability journey, including supporting their participation in the CFP Survey. Other partners and participating companies include the Collaboratory for a Regenerative Economy—University at Buffalo, New York State Pollution Prevention Institute, Niagara Share, Tapecon, and the Western New York Sustainable Business Coalition.
